Spectrum's primary business is specialising in minimising the risks associated with legionella bacteria, in commercial and industrial environments, including offices, factories, local authority housing and sheltered accommodation, and have been so since incorporation in August 2002. Prior to Spectrum's incorporation, in 2002, owner and Managing Director, Mr. Budgen, had previously gained over 20 years experience in the Water Treatment business.

Our online store for commercial and industrial customers was created in 2006. Our water treatment services have always involved recommending and supplying water softeners and filters to commercial customers, so we decided, these expertise should be offered domestic environments too! We have taken a great deal of care in sourcing only the best types of water softeners, filter and parts on the market, for your homes, and have every confidence in our recommendations.

Since 2002, having worked closely with Contract Managers to develop legionella control policies, we have gained significant experience in providing solutions for our clients and our clients, clients in this area. Our extensive portfolio of customers includes Building Consultants, Building Maintenance Services Companies, Factories, Residential Care Homes, Sheltered Housing Schemes and local and nonlocal authorities from direct purchasing or via a tendering process.

We have had no financial structure change, no prospective take-over bids, buy outs or closures.
